Swimming pool was good size and small childrens pool was good plus had floats for children to use. Excellent family changing rooms - they were separate from other changing rooms, large rooms for all with showers in, lockers and seats for children to be strapped into - brilliant for small children. Breakfast was buffet style, fair choice, plenty of it and hot food was cooked well. Once you found the hotel, location was easy access to motorway. Had 2 rooms for our group and one was a really good size for 2 adults and 2 children, other was a lot smaller. Childrens beds low to the ground, ideal for small children. Staff were friendly and pleasant at reception, at breakfast, at the pool and in restaurant.
Very noisy hotel. Had room above disco and was wedding on a sat night, could hear all music until early hours of the morning plus heard everyone leaving. Could hear all noises in the hotel during the night. Lift was very dodgy, someone broke it with too many people in it but didnt feel very stable most of the time. Shoddy housekeeping - they took our towels away one day and didnt replace with any for 4 of us! Found things left from previous people in our room - down the side of the bed. Sofa bed pulled out for 2 childrens beds and wasnt cleaned underneath - my 2 year old could get underneath and it wasnt clean. Restaurant was nice but bit overpriced, pub across road was better value.
Convenient location for visiting family in Latchford
Dark room, with window that overlooked the roof
Clean hotel high standard of accommodation and excellent service from all staff
noisy air con unit, even when switched off annoying noise continued.
Rooms very contemporary & comfortable.Food in restaurant absolutely fabulous.Sunday carvery amazing & excellent value.Kids (& adults!!) had loads of fun with the large floats that are supplied in the pool. We are very picky but cannot fault this hotel.
Cannot fault this hotel. If I had to complain about something it would be the bad design of the curved bottom step in the pool which could potentially be quite dangerous as both my husband and I and one of our sons slipped and went under the water on a few occasions when entering and getting out of the pool. Once we remembered it was there we knew to step over it but bad design which I think people should be made aware of or should be corrected to a square step. Surprised health and safety have past it.
I found the rooms very comfortable and they had everything you need . Also the food in the bar is wonderful and good prices .
It was convenient for our visit to family and an event in the town.
Bedside tables are impractical. The poor design made it quite dangerous to stand hot drinks on.
food was ok ; nice room ; worth the score
The village is a very friendly hotel with a Lot to offer.
Very pleasant surroundings good food and excellent service
spare bed put up in our room for children was broken and the mattress was too thin. so had to sleep with parent
We stay at them quite regularly as the deals are really good.
Chose a day when there was a triple-Wedding, although we were not disturbed during the night.
Great facilities and good atmosphere
Too many kids in the swimming pool which made trying to actually do any swimming impossible. Some swimming lanes would be adviseable so that everyone gets to use the pool. Plus over priced bar both for drinks and food.
facilities were wonderful and room was very comfortable
food in pub was average at best and drink prices were too high.
Easy parking, good wifi access, comfortable room.
Nothing - it is a well situated, good hotel.
My brother had his wedding at the hotel. The staff looking after the wedding inparticular Wayne were amazing from start to finish. We stayed in a family room which was a great size. The cost of the room was excellent value for money and the hotel is a fabulous wedding venue.
Nice room, very comfortable
The Restaurant was busy and we waited a long time for a table.Eventually gave up and ordered room service, took a long time to arrive, not ideal.Staff were helpful but seemed a little to overworked!!
